Meet the Owners

Mary, Mary Jo, Tara

Mary, Mary Jo & Tara started Athletic Edge Sports Center back in September of 2004. Under their leadership and guidance, Athletic Edge Sports Center has transformed from a basic beginner program to a home of champions. Along the way, they have watched their gymnasts grow from elementary school to college graduates and have gained a second family.

Mary Casale was a level 10 USAG gymnast. Graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology. Coaches USAG level 2-10 gymnasts, as well as Tottenville Girls Gymnastics Team.

Tara Polizzi was a level 9 USAG gymnast. Graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology. Coaches USAG level 2-10 gymnasts.

Mary Jo Greaves was a level 10 USAG gymnast. Graduated with a Bachelors in Accounting from NYU Stern School of Business. Coaches USAG level 2-10 gymnasts and coaches St. Joseph By the Sea High School Gymnastics Team.

Athletic Edge Sports Center is the home of a Senior International Elite gymnast, Olivia Greaves, who is a member of the US Women’s National Gymnastics Team. Olivia’s days before training elite, was apart of the Athletic Edge family. Now, we are so happy to see her attending Auburn University and is a part of the Auburn Women’s Division 1 Gymnastics Team.

Certifications: Safety & Professional Members of USA Gymnastics, First Aid & CPR.
